Beneteau 50 built in 2002. This Beneteau 50 is the perfect Med/Carribean family cruiser. Strongly built yet fast and very spacious.
This Beneteau 50 is well proven, and has a few Atlantic crossings under her belt and is equipped for long range, liveaboard sailing with a huge amount of safety and navigational equipment.
She has been well looked after by her owner who takes every care that she is maintained to the highest standard. Currently based in Portugal.
Maintenance undertaken in the last 12 months - Engine check, new solar panels, new bimini, canvas, lazybab, antifouling and bottom cleanning, new manual bilge, new toilet pump (4), boom vang refitet, new dinghy, new gangway.
Her sailing performance is excellent, being one of the few Beneteau 50’s to be fitted with the performance rig option – a taller SPARCRAFT triple spreader rig with a fully battened mainsail with HARKEN car system. She also has the deeper keel and an excellent sail wardrobe – for light and very strong winds. FARAWAY comes with everything you could ever need for cruising and has been professionally maintained through her life. She is in stunning condition and is loaded with all toys and/or extras needed for blue water cruising.
