Boat Description

A superb Fairey Swordsman aft cabin built in 1970 fastidiously maintained over many years by knowledgeable owners.  The Vendor purchased the boat in 2005 - then known as 'Hamble Sword' - and subsequently re-named her 'Liberty'.

In Summer 2019 the boat travelled over 250 nautical miles.  Now ashore near Poole in a custom-made shelter, she has an all-over fitted cover to protect decks and the exterior paint and varnish.
Twin new Perkins M225Ti engines were fitted in 1998 with only 1150 hours approximately since.  The Vendor had new teak decks fitted in 2006 being 10mm deep with new marine ply substrate underneath.  There is much information concerning upgrades and improvements over the years.
All exterior surfaces were repainted in 2015 A cradle ensures easy lifting and launching. Also, a Survey for insurance purposes was carried in Spring 2019.
Part One registered to ensure full Transfer of Title -significantmaintenance and provenance history.

2. Broker's informal comment.
It is well-known that rain and sunlight cause damage to wooden boats so there is a growing trend for boats to be fitted with all-over covers to protect the varnish and wood-work when not in use.
'Liberty' benefits from that investment to provide protection from the elements.
