Boat History
Two Owners from new.
Bought by the first UK owner at the 1993 Paris boat show the boat was ordered with £25,000 of additional sails and custom equipment. All original receipts and paperwork are available. The boat was delivered from France to St Peter Port Guernsey in 1994. Starkicker was kept in Guernsey and the Mediterranean until 2008 when she was brought back to Glasgow and VAT paid. The boat was sailed averagely for family sailing and taking part in a couple of local day races, the Tobermory Race where she obtained a CYCA handicap 12.5 (certificate available).
The boat was sold by the original owner in January 2013 due to ill health.
The second owners have never raced the boat and have used it for summer cruising to the Western Isles, Ireland and around the Irish Sea and weekend sailing around Anglesey. The boat has been kept on a summer mooring in the Menai Straits (not for sale). The boat has been taken out of the water every winter for servicing/antifouling and either wintered ashore or in the water at Victoria Dock Caenarfon. The current owners are now looking to sell in order to purchase a blue water boat.
